TED Homepage & About page Redesign
Despite its massive reach, TED faced challenges with its homepage, struggling to retain users due to a suboptimal discovery experience and disjointed brand presentation.
As Design Director and Product Design Lead, I helped lead a comprehensive redesign in collaboration with both TED's Brand & Marketing and Tech teams. Our refreshed visual design language and system became the foundation for the entire TED.com overhaul, focusing on clear value propositions for diverse user segments.
Role: Design Director & Product Design Lead
Work: User experience / Content strategy / Design / User testing

Homepage Redesign
The homepage redesign aimed to transform TED.com into an immersive, user-centric experience that boosts retention and revenue through enhanced content discovery and a dynamic new visual design language.
Revamping TED's Visual Identity and Engagement
The new visual design direction I led elevated TED's design system with a refreshed grid, secondary color palette, typographic system, and updated media cards with context signifiers. I directed the creation of a new thumbnail strategy to refresh TED’s look and increase engagement both on and off O&O.
About Page Redesign
The About page redesign aimed to create a captivating overview of TED, its mission, and the incredible diversity of its content and programs.
The page showcases TED's offerings and global impact — creating pathways for revenue generation with our non-retail audience.
The new visual design approach not only laid the foundation for the comprehensive redesign of TED.com but also revitalized its entire aesthetic, delivering a fresh and engaging look that enhances TED's online presence.
